Welcome to the December 2003 Newsletter, brought to you by Production Paradise Barcelona. Like always we offer you "The Latest" about photo productions, video-, commercial- and film producers, model agencies, rental studios, locations, equipment suppliers and other related services in Barcelona. On Production Paradise, you will find the most important addresses of service companies for audiovisual productions as well as the daily weather, hotels and restaurants in Barcelona. bcn production/commercial production: AXIS FILMS Axis Films has recently produced two commercials: Toyota Camry, directed by Matthias Zentner for Saatchi & Saatchi (P. Rico). This three-day shooting took place in several real locations, both interior and exterior, in Barcelona. At the moment, Axis Films is immersed in the pre-production process of two new image commercials for the German Production Company Velvet Mediendesign, which will be shot in Barcelona and Madrid before the end of the month. |

bcn production/commercial production: SETUP PRODUCTIONS The autumn season in Barcelona had great challenges in store for Setup Productions. As the summer went smoothly by, Esad Cicic came to town with 7 catalogues to shoot for Peek & Cloppenburg’s Men’s Fashion. Setup had the pleasure to welcome one of the shooting stars in Car Photography: Tom Schulte, on a 4 motifs project for Seat Cordoba, during which he got confirmed another shooting for the Smart Car. Because of the good quality work and quick selection of locations we could offer, Tom stayed in Barcelona to shoot the Smart here as well. Currently Setup is serving the English Glamour Magazine with Photographer Neil Gavin and editor Belinda Palmer on two editorials. |

Besides our officially represented photographers, our clients can now also select new talents. Rick Guest has just shot a European campaign for Calypso watches "Mojate", with Euro RSCG agency. Dimitri Daniloff has done another campaign with the Catalan agency Tandem DDB, shooting the latest international Unno campaign. He is also preparing an editorial of beauty images for the magazine Vanidad. Roger Casas, recently incorporated into Simsanphoto, has just done the campaign to introduce the local newspaper "El Punt" in Barcelona with Tandem DDB agency.
