For the past 20 years, Ruggiero has produced local commercials and facilitated services to those international production companies, interested in shooting in Spain. This month, Dolce Vita Productions has been busy with several fashion shoots: after producing a men's wear catalogue for Otto in August, they kicked off September with a shoot in Barcelona for Basler, with Spanish photographer Alejandro Cabrera, through the prestigious Munich-based ad agency Ofenstein, Dehning. Marks & Spencer were hot on their heels with a sportswear shoot with photographer Nick Maroudias, making the most of Barcelona's Olympic facilities.

In parallel, Dolce Vita was also busy producing shoots in gorgeous Ibiza. Boden from London shot under the Balearic sun with Rick Truscott. And Dolce Vita had stars in their eyes when they worked with Andre Plessel on a shoot for Maxim with Jasmin Wagner (ex-Blümchen).

bcn production/movie production: JUST FILMS S.L

After the international success of "The Nameless" by Jaume Balagueró, Joan Ginard, producer of Just Films, presents Paco's Plaza first movie, "Second Name".

The film has been awarded with the Silver Méliès to the Best European Film in 2002.
With an international cast (Erica Prior, Trae Houlihan, Craig Hill, and Frank O'Sullivan), the theatrical première in Spain, on November 2002, was a big success. "Second Name" has been performed in France, Italy, Turkey, and will be shown in other countries around the world.

Co-produced with Castelao Productions, the distribution is managed by Sogedasa (Filmax) one of the most important audiovisual groups in Spain.

Barcelona is rapidly becoming the "hot place" for European filmmakers.

This month, the young, German director and scriptwriter Alexander Hofmann came to Barcelona to do researches for his next film, to be produced in Barcelona.

His short film " The Daemons" was shown at the Slamdance Festival in Park City, Utah 2003.

Right now, you have the chance to see his short film "Aquarius" at the Online Film Festival "Shorts-Welcome" from Tiscali, just click on the screenshot on the left.

Fausto 5.0, a witty and intelligent re-working of the much-filmed Faust story, the first big screen production of the unusual collaboration between three directors, Isidro Ortiz, Alex Olle and Carlos Padrissa, two of them members of the Fura dels Baus troupe.

Doctor Faust is a specialist in terminal medicine, a man without dreams, closer to death than to life. He has to participate in a convention, where he has a chance encounter with a man called Santos Vella, who claims to be a former patient, assuring him, that he had given him up for dead eight years ago. Santos will guide him on a fantastic journey through his own conscience, from which Faust will not come out with the same countenance.

The sexy styling was done once again by Nuria, Hair and Make Up by Susanna. He shot this session on 8 by 10 inch Polaroid.

Michele Curel, American freelance photographer, based in Barcelona, is specialised in portrait and interiors photography for editorial and advertising clients in the United States and Spain.

Her most recently published work was seen in the Travel Section of The New York Times with photos of the new Grand Luxury Hotel in Barcelona: Gran Hotel la Florida.

Other New York/London editorial clients include: Newsweek, Business Week, Forbes, National Geographic, Vanity Fair, Travel & Leisure. And advertising clients in Madrid: Remo/Asatsu (campaign for Whiskey DYC), TBWA (campaign for British Telecom).

"Ojo por Ojo" changes its company name into "Llobet y Orengo".

This summer, we have been working for an important Spanish jewellery group called JCL.

Moreover, we have been working on personal projects, such as a portrait of a go-go dancer.

Right now we are shooting artists and performers in Barcelona.

Dimitri Daniloff is a photographer based in Paris, represented in Spain exclusively by Simsanphoto.

Last July, he shot the print campaign for Abanderado through Tandem DDB agency, to be released in October.

Dimitri is going through a boom period professionally.
He won the grand prix and a silver lion for the Playstation print campaign at the last advertising festival in Cannes.

He has also shot a European print campaign for Festina watches, as well as his first TV AD with this same client for Euro RSCG agency in Barcelona.

For 2 crazy weeks, Bamboo was running around, organising the major production for HP with the American HP Advertising Agency Stone Yamashita and photographer Michael Haegele.
The photos will be used for the HP worldwide campaign.

The Madrid multinational ad agency won the Nokia worldwide campaign and Bamboo's photographer Agustin Amate was chosen to shoot the still life campaign.

Photographer Dani Riera, who has recently joined bamboo as his agent, shot 2 Nenuco campaigns, coming out in press and billboards soon.

The still life photographer Miguel Navarro is shooting Armand Basi complements for their Xmas press release.

The new Spot Daylight Studio is a modern Loft studio with 140m2 working space and the 40m2 glass front.

The studio can be used as a daylight loft-location as well as a normal photo studio. Located at the 9th floor of an old industrial building, its huge glass-front permits a fantastic view on the 'Torres' of Barcelona's Olympic village and the seaside.

To complete the services for photographers, the integrated Spot Professional Light service holds available a large selection of newest Briese and Pro technology right at the studio.

During the "Cibeles" Shows, we had the pleasure to receive a visit from Top Model Stella Tennant, who walked down the runway for the 12 designers from the Association of Spanish Fashion Designers.

Andres Velencoso can now be seen in the new campaign from Louis Vuitton in "good company" with latin Super Star Jennifer Lopez.

The Hotel has 22 rooms with Internet connection, a library in the basement, a restaurant and many other useful services. During your spare time Neri is also a perfect place to chill out or to discover all kind of shops, restaurants or bars located in a walking distance.
